WILMA R. GOODHUE, Co-founder of Friendship Home, lives in Norwell and has two sons, one of whom, Michael, has Down Syndrome. She is a staff member of Friendship Home. Wilma is an active member of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Retardation Regional and South Coastal Area Citizen Advisory Boards, the ARC of the South Shore Family Support Committee, is a Trustee of the Edwin Phillips Trust of Marshfield, MA and a member of the South Shore Mothers Support Group. Wilma and Joan Mullare were named Citizens of the Year in 2006 by the Norwell Chamber of Commerce and were awarded a certificate of Community Recognition by the Department of Mental Retardation at the State House in 2001.
