Part time Team Leader- Friendship Club

Essential Job Functions

The Friendship Club Team Leader:

  • Is responsible for assuring a safe environment for members
  • Runs club meetings to assure participant input, productive discussion and activity and enjoyable and positive experience by members
  • Sets up all food and supplies for each meeting
  • Assures that clubs have necessary staff and volunteers to conduct activities and provide safety
  • Maintains program records including updated forms and contact lists
  • Meets with families to discuss new members and any issues of concern
  • Is responsible for contributing to a cooperative team approach with other staff members, volunteers and club members
  • Appropriately delegates tasks to volunteers and members assuring that activities are orchestrated in a healthy, productive, educational and enjoyable manner
  • Works with volunteers and the administrative office regarding program events as agreed
  • Assures that the Friendship Club experience meets individual and family expectations for involvement by members
  • Participates in weekly individual and group supervision as requested by Program Director
  • Assures security of building during and after club meetings.

Schedule:  Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 4-8:30 PM, Wednesday 3-8:30 PM
