Friendship Home’s 4th Annual Gala
Thank you to everyone who made our 4th Annual Gala a tremendous success!
A sell out crowd of over 800 guests turned out in support of Friendship Home’s 4th Annual Gala at Lombardo’s in Randolph on March 1st. Nearly $400,000 was raised through the generosity of those in attendance.
The evening’s festivities included entertainment by legendary comedian Steve Sweeney, highly acclaimed vocal impressionist Joey Voices, Norwell vocalist Virginia Kulka, and dancing to the sounds of the South Shore’s own Vinal Tap. Guests enjoyed a memorable performance by Friendship Home members.
The launch of Friendship Home’s new “Hand in Hand” video highlighted the theme of the evening, “Celebrating our Community Partners.” The evening honored the hundreds of individuals and businesses that help Friendship achieve their mission, particularly those “Partners” who provide work opportunities for the Bridges to Work Program.
Lauren Payne, Executive Director of Friendship Home, expressed her gratitude to all who participated in making the event a huge success. “Our Community Partners are the heart of all we do, “strengthening our programs, and making events like tonight successful in helping us to provide essential services to people with developmental disabilities and their families. Our thanks go out to all who made it possible.”
A special thanks to our Host Committee, Volunteers and of course our Sponsors!
