Individual Support

Individual Support Services

Friendship Home became qualified to provide Individual Support Services through the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services in 2010. We offer a broad range of options designed to help individuals remain in their family home or apartment by providing life skills training, travel training, vocational support and a variety of other supports. Our Individual Support Advocates meet with individuals and families to design an array of supports that help the individual build skills, safely access the community and fulfill their goals and objectives.

Please feel free to arrange a tour of our facility and sit down with a staff person who can help you to develop an individual plan.

Individual Support Services

Friendship Home became qualified to be an Agency with Choice from the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services in 2010. In this service management model, Friendship Home helps individuals and families hire their own service providers. This is a “co-employment model” where Friendship Home is the employee of record, but the family directly supervises the employee and sets out the duties.
